Fresh new Nukeproof Mega Alloy specifications released
The Nukeproof Mega Pro 297/290 Enduro Bike
Since it’s inception, the Nukeproof Mega Alloy has been at the forefront of the enduro mountain bike market. The Nukeproof Mega was originally designed to tackle the demanding terrain of the infamous French classic, the Megavalanche; a mass-start race from the summit of Pic Blanc, Alp D’Huez, descending 8,500 feet over 12.5 miles to the valley floor over a wide variety of challenging terrain. Twelve years later, the Mega has gone on to help establish the Nukeproof name around the world. Most notably, the bike has won no less than four Enduro World Series Championship titles and multiple other national and international titles.
Its dialed geometry, incredible suspension kinematics and quality frame meet all the requirements for any rider looking at challenging themselves, making the most recent iteration of the Mega the finest vintage yet. The frames feature optimized suspension kinematics around 160mm (290) and 165mm (275/ 297) of rear travel.
The Mega Alloy 297 and 290 are crafted from hydroformed 6061 triple butted aluminium frames. They're available as complete bikes or as a frame only.
